INSEMINATION APPARATUS

We present our proprietary insemination device, designed and manufactured in-house.
Drawing from our extensive experience in queen bee insemination, we have precisely addressed the needs for ergonomics and ease of disinfection. Combining this practical insight with engineering expertise, we have created a high-quality product.
While the device is based on the classic Mackensen concept, its innovation lies in a deliberate departure from 'design standards' in several key areas. We build our insemination devices to order, tailoring them to the user’s hand size and preferred working style. This effectively reduces muscle tension and operator fatigue.
Our devices are manufactured using materials resistant to aggressive chemical environments (stainless steel, silicone rubber, glass, PTFE (Teflon), HDPE, PET, and PEEK), ensuring durability against chloride ions, ozone, hydroxides, ethanol, isopropanol, and other disinfectants. The entire device can be fully submerged in disinfecting solutions (e.g., Virkon, NaOH solution, sodium hypochlorite, etc.) and cleaned in ultrasonic cleaners. We also offer components with antibacterial properties made from copolymers infused with silver ions.
The mechanical components feature acid-resistant uniball joints with Teflon raceways for the hook manipulators. The insemination syringe movement is powered by a precision gear mechanism, which eliminates the slippage issues commonly found in friction-based devices while maintaining superior precision and smooth operation. For enhanced convenience and hygiene, we replaced the traditional heavy base with a magnetic base utilizing strong neodymium magnets.
The design is compatible with any insemination syringe system. The all-glass Luer-lock syringe included with the device features a quick-mount block. This significantly streamlines the setup process, reduces the risk of damaging the insemination needle, and simplifies the bleeding (air removal) of the syringe—a feature particularly valued by beginners.
Our devices are produced using CNC machining or industrial 3D printing technologies. All units are delivered in secure transport cases with custom-cut foam inserts.
